Is space travel a religious matter?

As we see the pain of psyche being played out, it is even more apparent our responsibility in tending to the souls of the world. During a recent Board of Trustees meeting, collective thought was shared towards answering the call. The “Word Sculpture” below was created from mixing the Board of Trustees comments to create a whole piece.

Enter LEADERSHIP
RECOGNIZING from the 60’s Watts Riots; 90’s Rodney King Unrest to Now;
We must HOPE and
SEE that we are different but the same.
BREATH in the pain

BREATH out healing energy and
Get sick and tired of being sick and tired,
In this overwhelming flood towards
NO NEUTRALITY
DIAL BACK
Too much racism.
Too much hate.
Ban bad culture and start out the gate with
BE OUT LOUD ADVOCACY.

Ponder Peace.
This is the crisis of this generation with the rhetoric of the past.
We must REMEMBER.
REMEMBRANCE helps us find what’s bubbling underneath.
ERUPTING with so many issues, too much grief.

HOLD COURAGE and
Shine light where it’s working,
With a KNOWINGNESS that
Even in sadness we are here–
DRINKING AT THE FOUNTAIN.

GLOBAL RESPECT opens us to
Change ourselves, in order to change others.
Honest dialogue encourages the process of
TURNING INWARD and learning that
We need not think alike to love alike.
